Award Winning Sports Photography

Founded by Steve Pope who was the first photographer ever to be named Welsh Sports Journalist of the Year, Sportingwales is the biggest collection of sports images in Wales.

Based at the prestigious Celtic Manor Resort, venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup, Steve has worked in America, Europe, Africa, Asia, India and Australia covering major sports events.

Also founder of Sportingwales magazine, the National Sports Magazine for Wales (www.sportingwales.net). The magazine was launched in 2008 and has become widely recognised for it's great design, editorial content and photography.

As the official photographer to the Celtic Manor Wales Open since it's launch on the European Tour back in 2000, Steve has built the largest collection of golf images in Wales covering everything from junior golf to the Ryder Cup.

Steve Pope is also the official Team Wales photographer for the Commonwealth Games Council for Wales attending the 2006 Melbourne and 2010 Delhi games.
